1. Scope and Contracting Party

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the online platform DartsStar (available at https://darts-star.com) and the associated Android app.

By registering or using DartsStar, you agree to these Terms. Conflicting terms proposed by the user are not accepted unless we expressly agree to them in writing.

2. Service Description

DartsStar is a free browser and app-based darts simulation game for entertainment purposes. You can manage a virtual player, compete in leagues and cup competitions, train, play ranked matches and save your progress.

The operator provides the platform “as is”. There is no entitlement to uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available use. Maintenance, updates or technical issues may temporarily limit availability.

DartsStar is not gambling in the legal sense. Virtual currencies and items have no real-world monetary value outside the platform and cannot be exchanged for real money.

3. Registration and Requirements

Full use requires registration. You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity on your account.

Use is permitted from age 13. Users under 18 should obtain parental consent, especially for paid purchases.

By registering, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and the in-game rules. Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Usage Rights and Obligations

You receive a simple, non-transferable, revocable right to personal use of DartsStar.

You agree in particular:

not to post insults, hate speech, harassment or unlawful content;
not to use cheats, bots, scripts, save manipulation or other unauthorized aids;
not to bypass security mechanisms or overload the platform;
not to infringe third-party rights;
to operate only one game account per person unless expressly permitted otherwise.

In case of violations, we may delete content, restrict features or suspend or permanently ban accounts.

5. Game Rules and Fair Play

DartsStar simulates a darts career. League matches, cup rounds, training, ranked matches and other modes follow the rules shown in the game. Results are calculated and stored server-side.

Manipulation affecting game integrity is detected and logged. Repeated or serious violations may result in exclusion from play.

6. Virtual Goods and Currency

The game may include virtual currencies (e.g. in-game money, diamonds) and virtual items (e.g. equipment). These have meaning only within DartsStar.

Virtual goods are non-transferable and non-refundable (except where statutory withdrawal rights apply to paid purchases) and may be forfeited upon account deletion, rule violations or service discontinuation.

7. Paid Add-ons (Diamond Purchases)

You may optionally purchase diamond packages via PayPal. PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. acts as payment service provider in addition to us.

Prices are shown before purchase and include applicable statutory VAT where required. Credits are applied to your game account after successful payment.

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details are in our Withdrawal Policy. For digital content not supplied on a physical medium, the right of withdrawal expires if you expressly agreed that we begin performance before the withdrawal period ends and confirmed your knowledge of the loss of the right of withdrawal.

8. Advertising and Newsletter

DartsStar may offer optional rewarded ads via Google. Ads are shown only after your explicit consent in the game. See our Privacy Policy for data processing details.

A newsletter about DartsStar (e.g. updates, events) is sent only with separate consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time via the unsubscribe link in emails or by contacting info@darts-star.com.

9. Referral Program

DartsStar may offer a referral program where inviters and invited users can receive virtual rewards under defined conditions. Abuse (e.g. multiple accounts, automated registrations) is prohibited and may lead to forfeiture of rewards and account suspension.

10. Availability, Changes and Discontinuation

We may develop, change, add or discontinue features at any time. Where possible, registered users will be informed of material changes by email or in-game message.

We may amend these Terms with effect for the future. The current version is always available on this page. Material changes will be communicated to registered users.

11. Liability

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence in breach of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical contractual damage. Otherwise liability is excluded.

We are not responsible for content posted by other users (e.g. chat messages). We may remove such content after review.

12. Term and Termination

The usage contract runs for an indefinite period. You may request account deletion at any time (see Privacy Policy). We may terminate accounts for serious violations or prolonged inactivity after prior notice.

13. Applicable Law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country of habitual residence are not deprived of effect.

14. Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
